Interview:
Host: Key lessons or experiences that have enriched you and are currently aiding you in your work profile.
Akhil: The main lesson and learning was given to me by my senior who said that to gain experience and to be the master of the subject, one need to understand and realize the actual need of litigating a matter as litigation cannot be done frivolously and the second piece of advice that I got was that an Advocate must not be emotionally attached to the cases filed by him/her and every outcome shall be taken as a learning and teaching to improve the future approach.
Host: What kind of solutions would you like to advise others, especially those who want to take up this profession?
Akhil: The one piece of advice which I would like to give is to never stop reading and learning and to keep themselves updated by making the best use of the technology and stay motivated as this is the best profession as it brings a lot of awareness about ones rights and responsibilities.
Host: In the era of legal technology, what are the most commonly used tools for you?
Akhil: I mostly use cisco Webex, Microsoft teams, zoom for my e hearings and meetings and also use Adobe for converting my work from word to PDF and then making the same as my final work which reduces my dependency on bulky physical files and papers.
