The Indonesian litigator Hillman Sembiring has joined Oentoeng Suria & partners, which is an associated office of the Ashurst at Jakarta as a partner for disputes resolution practice. Hillman Sembiring joins from his own firm Hillman Sembiring Advocates, which was established by him in 2016 after five years of working at HHP, a member firm of Baker McKenzie in Indonesia, following his departure the firm was closed. As a dispute resolution lawyer with over nearly 20 years of experience, he has assisted on international and domestic clients with complex litigation matters including bribery and corruption investigation and disputes, banking, securities, and financial services disputes, and general corporate and commercial disputes.
